Hi.
In many of my projects I add a check for the Python version being used,
like:
if sys.version_info < (2, 6):
raise SystemExit('xxx requires Python 2.6 or higher.')
I think it would be better to specify this requirement as a
`python_requires` parameter for the setup function.
What is the reason why this is not supported?
