I am quite surprised that you managed to run yet into another core- issue, especially considering that a test generates every single possible MFnMethod in order to assure the dynamic code generator works correctly.
In your case, the object that is supposed to be a function is a property, which is why it fails. I wonder which function you tried to call ? If you are on linux or OSX, it should be easy to run 'tmrv' to run all unitests yourself.
