As Damon and Anthony have pointed out, there is a distinct lack of a folder
like "Users/Documents/maya". This makes me believe that you are not
operating in a "vanilla" windows environment. Someone else has their hand
in your cookie jar.
Just go ahead and run:
import sys
sys.path.append("X:/6")
import NSUV
At some point you should talk to whomever else might be touching your
configurations.
