Is there any MEL/Python command for creating an empty panel/window which can be attached (as a tab) to the side of Maya similar to the Channel Box, Attribute Editor, Tool Settings and Modeling Toolkit? And also command to add an icon to the top-right corner of Maya so it can be turn on/off?
And if such command does not exists then maybe there is some API classes to do that?
