Hi all, I hadn't heard of this project before. I've just had a quick look at the site.
A single website can include several of Django's "apps". In spite of being called "apps", Django-apps are designed to be reusable components. Pinax looks to me like something Django has desperately needed, to begin to compete with the rich array of plugins available for Ruby-on-Rails. Thanks Iker!
