Chase Resourcing Ireland has been secured by one of Ireland’s fastest
growing financial institutions to source a new Senior Developer in
Dublin City Centre. This is a new vacancy and the 1st of 3 hires that
has just been signed off by the board. The company employ over 60
people in their Dublin and are now looking to secure a Senior
Developer from a financial background {ideally from fund or banking}
to help with the new build of a financial be-spoke system.
This system is being developed on an open-source system of PYTHON and
Java. The ideal candidate is going to have a least 6-10 years
experience and be able to hit this project running and work with other
developers who are based across the world. You will be dealing
directly with the IT Directors who are based in Dublin and will be
available to assist you when needed.
The environment that you will be working in is highly motivated and
has some of the most advanced skilled professionals in Ireland, you
will be part of daily process meetings and involved with all the
development objectives across the group
The applications are primarily written in Python and C# that works
with a 3rd party application including Java, .NET, Java Messaging/
implemented on SQL Servers.
Responsibilities:
· Working with the QA’s and team business leads
· Working with implementation remote teams
· Scripting, architecture, create work flow documents
· Deal with office requests when systems are being tested
(Beta Formatting)
· Deal with development enterprise application financial
funding
· Some support for weekly production operations
· Assist all the specific calculations and custom work flows
Requirements:
· 6 - 10 years experience
· Proven experience in enterprise application development
· Proven exposure building financial applications
· Experience with multiple languages
o Python
o Java
o C#
o Perl or other flavours of UNIX
o Ruby
· working directly with end users
· commercial financial development
· A BA/BS college degree
· Experience to understand requirements and demonstrate
applications in progress
· A FINANCIAL BACKGROUND IS A MUST
