Yesterday, over coffee myself and Sean came up with the idea about Python talks outside the community. We haven't got the time to put together a half hour talk about Python.
Instead what we could do is get 5 people to do 5 minutes each, e.g. this is a problem I had and I solved with Python. The effect of 5 such presentations in a 30 minute slot would give a good feel for Python and maybe create an interest in finding out more, If you are interested in discussing this join us for a Coffee in IRC at 11am today or Monday, or email a response on the list.
