I hope to be able to show https://groups.google.com/forum/#!msg/pigfi/9z2gs7PigG0/Sus9rX1uNR4J tonight also. Provided that the internet fairies work, and the talk is in English, which it should be.

If anybody has any lightning talks they would like to give, let me know too.

See you all at 7pm.

Hi again,

No need to book, it's free for anybody to attend.

EngineYard is located on Barrow Street.

Here's a Google Map with the location on it. http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UTF&msa=0&msid=

Hi all,

I hope you have all recovered from PyConIE last month. We will hopefully have more news on that front soon for you all. For those looking to recap
on talks, there are videos available here. http://bit.ly/pyconie12

I'd like to announce that Ulrich Dangel will be giving a talk this month on Devops 101 with Python, and we are being graciously hosted by Eamon
Leonard in EngineYard on Nov 14th at 7pm.

Talk Description:

Vertical scaling, an increasing Server to Sysadmin ratio and more and more
complex system started the DevOps movement to bridge the gap between
Developers and Operations. DevOps is about communication, automation and
repeatability. DevOps is about combining two typically separated
departments to develop and provide stable and scalable applications even
in a fast-paced environment. DevOps is about providing an agile
development environment while still meeting the standard.

This talk will give an introduction into DevOps, introduce important
concepts for developers as well as sysadmins and highlight different tools
to simplify different aspects of typical deployment issues like
repeatability or server orchestration with a special focus on Python based
tools.

Looking forward to seeing everyone next week, if anybody would like to give a lightning talk, let us know, or just come up with one on the night.
