Hi all,

This is a reminder about our call for proposals initial closing date. If
you would like to have your talk publicised early and a spot secured for
this years conference, you will need to submit your proposal before July
14th. You can do so here: http://python.ie/pycon/2014/callfor/speakers/

Submissions will still be accepted after this date but won't be guaranteed
as we have a limited number of schedule spots. Last years feedback
indicated that visiting delegates wanted our conference schedule published
earlier in advance of the conference. Submitting your talk before this
deadline will allow us to do this.

In other news, I'd like to announce that the Python Academy will be holding
a training workshop on the Thursday and Friday (Oct 9th and 10th) before
the conference. This is a fantastic opportunity to brush up on more
advanced topics in Python. You need to register and pay separately for
this, and you can find out more here:
http://www.python-academy.com/courses/python_advanced_pyconie.html

Finally, remember to get your tickets: http://python.ie/pycon before
they're all gone!
