Hi Pythonians & Pythonistas, we are inviting you to come along to the *Open Charity Data Hackday in TCUBE* <https://ti.to/open-knowledge-ireland/open-charity-data-hackday>taking place this* Saturday July 26th. The event takes place from 9.30 - 5ish/6ish. *
We're all set up and have some charity experts, data wranglers, eager researchers and web designers lined-up. We'd love to have some coders/developers there to help the cause on the day. The idea of the event is very much that of a community of people coming together and producing something great that will help the general public, charities and likely governments. All you need is to bring yourself and your Laptop :-) There will be 3 streams on the day, each corresponding to one group. So we'll be forming 3 teams 1 - Researching & Auditing the charity data that is available. This is the most important work on the day, without this we steps 2 and 3 can't happen. 2 - Building datasets (formatting and standardizing data), put them into required code and prepare them for upload to web applications 3 - Upload & visualize data in a way that is easily understood by the general public on the web. You can reach me at [email protected] or at 0851587423 for any questions. *Sign Up* <https://ti.to/open-knowledge-ireland/open-charity-data-hackday> See you there, Flora -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Python Ireland" group.
