CALLING ALL COMPUTING STUDENTS, FACULTY, IT PROFESSIONALS

The School of Computing, National College of Ireland (Dublin) is hosting an
open keynote lecture on Linux, Open Source, and Portable Supercomputing in
the Kelly Theatre onMonday 2nd March from 12:30hrs to 13:30hrs.



The lecture will be given by Jon "maddog" Hall. A veteran of the IT
industry, maddog is the Executive Director of Linux International, a
non-profit organisation of computer professionals who wish to support and
promote Linux-based operating systems.  maddog has been honoured with a
Lifetime Recognition Award for his services to the open source community at
the UK Linux and Open Source Awards 2006.
