I was not very precise. How's this: Apparently most Tiger users that are building and distributing packages are running Python 2.4 > it should be supported. coulda, woulda, shoulda. Bob accepts contributions to the pythonmac site. In fact, he's even said he'll give admin privileges to folks that want to help maintain it. That brings up an issue: In many cases, it is very easy to build a mpkg of a python package once you have it all compiled. If all of us that got packages working on our machines contributed them, the pythonmac site would get much more comprehensive. As for me, I'm still running 10.3, and I try to contribute packages for Python2.3 and python2.4 -Chris -- Christopher Barker, Ph.D. Oceanographer NOAA/OR&R/HAZMAT (206) 526-6959 voice 7600 Sand Point Way NE (206) 526-6329 fax Seattle, WA 98115 (206) 526-6317 main reception [EMAIL PROTECTED] _______________________________________________ Pythonmac-SIG maillist - Pythonmac-SIG@python.org http://mail.python.org/mailman/listinfo/pythonmac-sig
