Don't use PackageManager, it's outdated. Use the packages at: http://pythonmac.org/packages/ I think the ones for: Mac OS X 10.3 (stock Python 2.3.0) might work with your system, but you're probably better off installing python 2.4 from: http://undefined.org/python/ and using these: Mac OS X 10.3+ (Python 2.4.1 framework build) They'll work on 10.4 We really need to update the pythonmac.org web site!
