Works just fine on fresh install of Tiger and PPC.
Making this official +1.
Perhaps could use some cosmetic changes but that's a matter of  
personal taste.

Package from pythonmac works seamlessly here.

Numpy 0.9.6 from sourceforge now comes as a dmg mpkg; installs and  
works under a minute.

All those work from existing packages at pythonmac.
