It puts IDLE, BuildApplet, and the other applications that ship with MacPython in Applications. This is not unusual. It DOES install as a framework. It DOES by default put symlinks in /usr/local/bin. The slight differences in the way ActivePython behaves are deviations on their part. -bob _______________________________________________ Pythonmac-SIG maillist - Pythonmac-SIG@python.org http://mail.python.org/mailman/listinfo/pythonmac-sig
