Of course. I guess David just wanted to explain that the typical needs
of such applications are somehow REQUEST-RESPONSE-REQUEST-... like. We
do not *really* need this gtk mainloop, where different actions could
happen at the same time sending events and all this.

I also use a webserver for my experiment
