I am sorry but I am not familiar with this distribution. Could you
please specify which version of pytrainer and garmintools you are
running?

so we can discard this fail point. Unfortunately I can see two
different pytrainer "executions" in mentioned file: first one runs old
checks (this is why I aski you about pytrainer version) and second one
is logging just to ERROR, so not really much information is there.
Could you please try to import workouts from your Fore 305 starting
pytrainer in debug mode? ("$ pytrainer -d" from command line)

File from garmintools shows that points in your activity do have
distance (through cadence, it makes me think about accessories) but
don't have latitude, longitude nor altitud data. Definitely it would
help if you could try to import activities with log level set to
DEBUG.
