Hi all,

I think the first thing to check is the hardware is working fine. I'd had this
kind of problems even when running Garmint software. The problem is the
connection terminals get dirty with sweat and what not. The solution is to
clean them, those in the device and the pod, with a pencil  eraser. I´m not
joking here.

If that doesn't work the next thing to do is to test the garmintools
separately. For example, execute the following command with the device
connected:

garmin_save_run

some directory structure should be created with , like 2012/02/*.gmn,
containing the downloaded data.

If all that is working then it might be a problem with pytrainer.

Hope this helps,

RODOLFO
