Hi again,

Just for tracking purposes, I found out the GPSBabel is also capable
of parsing FIT format (see
http://www.gpsbabel.org/htmldoc-1.4.3/fmt_garmin_fit.html), so I
decided to give last dev version a try (1.4.3 is not final yet).
Unfortunately it doesn't work for me (Garmin forerunner 210 with 2.50
firmware)

$ gpsbabel -D 9 -i garmin_fit -f
/media/GARMIN/Garmin/Activities/2012-05-14-19-45-08.fit -o gtrnctr -F
salida.tcx
GPSBabel Version: 1.4.3
fit: record truncated
$

It looks the same error others have:
