I have just tried installing Pytrainer from the Ubuntu repository on
to Ubuntu 12.04 and I noticed a couple of strange things:

1. I cannot enable debug logging. It seems Pytrainer is ignoring any
command line arguments.

2. The app name in the title bar reads "Pytrainer 1.9.2-dev". The
"dev" suffix indicates it this is not an official tagged release.

It could be the case that the version of Pytrainer in the Ubuntu 12.04
package repository is broken. If you cannot enable debug logging
either then I would suggest downloading the official Pytrainer 1.9.2
release and trying that.
