Is there a way to communicate from pyUSB to an existing Windows Vista 64
driver without installing the libusb-win32 driver? I ran the inf-wizard.exe
program that comes with libusb-win32 1.2.6.0 and it installed a driver that
I can use to communicate with a BASIC Stamp 2 device using pyUSB. Installing
this driver also prevented the Windows Parallax editor application from
accessing the USB device. I had to uninstall the driver using usbdeview,
unplug the device and plug it back in so that Windows would re-install the
original driver. The original driver that Windows installed is ftd2xx.dll,
which is an FTDI driver. If the libusb-win32 driver would allow the Parallax
editor to access the device, then I could use it, but that's not happening.
Thanks.

Andy
