Sure, but what's the point of maintaining *two* backends, as the
second one (-compat) requires the first one to execute?
Maitaining libusb-compat is required for native application that rely
on the old API, but as long as PyUSB abstracts the underlying API,
what's the point of keeping both:
This increase the maintenance and test workload, but I don't see the
ultimate goal (except maybe for Windows hosts…)
