TASK DESCRIPTION The **Archiving Bot** aims to automate the archiving of URLs added to Wikidata <https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Wikidata:Main_Page> via the Wikiwix <https://archive.wikiwix.com/cache/#federation=archive.wikiwix.com&tab=url> service. This bot will ensure better preservation of references added to Wikidata. **Objectives:** 1. Develop a bot named Archiving Bot. 2. 3. The bot should: 4. 5. Automatically detect URLs added in Wikidata statements. 6. 7. Send each URL to the Wikiwix service for archiving. 8. 9. Add the archived URL in the appropriate property on Wikidata (such as P1065 <https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/P1065> for archived URLs). 10. 11. Provide an interface to review recently archived links. **Technical Tasks:** 1. Create the bot's structure following MediaWiki and Pywikibot standards. 2. 3. Develop the logic for detecting and sending URLs to Wikiwix. 4. 5. Implement the functionality to automatically add archived URLs to Wikidata. 6. 7. Write user and technical documentation.
