Sorry to revive an old thread, but I've created a task for establishing an underlying 'wikibase' library, roughly like what you have done, and migrating all clients to use it. https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T102741 While Pywikibot's Wikibase layer has advanced a lot since 2013 , Python developers should be able to use a well maintained data types library without adding Pywikibot as a dependency. We can help make that possible. -- John Vandenberg _______________________________________________ pywikibot mailing list [email protected] https://lists.wikimedia.org/mailman/listinfo/pywikibot
