Yes, I completed the FAC-based content model last November and it has
turned out to be pretty solid, but the effort exhausted the time I had
available for PyXB last year.  My own limited needs for XML in Python are
satisfied by Python 2.7 support, and I don't personally use Python3 for
anything.

My attention is currently on consulting work and research related to
wireless sensor networks.  While there is a rough plan for PyXB 1.3, I
don't have a schedule or reason for doing it.    If that changes, the
Python3 fork would certainly immediately follow a 1.2.x release.
