Hi Hugo,

Sorry for the late reaction.

It looks like the config.ssdf in your Pyzo appdata directory (~/.pyzo) has
non-utf8 characters in it.

Subject: [Pyzo] Cannot run pyzo on linux anymore

Hi everyone,

Pyzo doesn't want to start anymore, could anybody help? I'm running Mint 18
Xfce; it worked fine until last week, but all of a sudden it refuses to start.
I tried upgrading pyzo (sudo python3 -m pip install pyzo --upgrade) to
pyzo-4.3.1, and even pip, but no luck. The error is as follows:

$ pyzo
Started our command server

  File "/usr/local/lib/python3.5/dist-packages/pyzo/util/zon.py", line 176, in

    text = file.read().decode('utf-8')

I'm not sure if I should report it on the bug tracker, since I don't know if
it's a pyzo bug or a 'me' bug :) Thanks for your help!
Cheers,
