Chris and I have talked several times that we should use mediawiki api for some tests. Today I have stumbled upon mediawiki-gateway ruby gem:
https://rubygems.org/gems/mediawiki-gateway https://github.com/jpatokal/mediawiki-gateway I did not try it out yet, but it could make it easier to interact with the api from ruby. Željko
