Hello Steve,

I just joined the other day myself so I guess we will both be learning these
things as we go.  I haven't dived into the tutorials yet but they look
promising.  Seems to be a great project to be involved in, eh?

Pleased to make your acquaintance,
Tom

Tom,

I'm completely new to the whole concept of making a contribution to OO, whether
it's via QA or some other means, but focusing on Base sounds like fun to me.
How do we proceed? Do we exchange things directly with just copies to the
group? Will we be absorbed into an existing network of Base-folks?

Subject: Introduction

Hello,

I've been doing QA for about 10 years.  I've been using MS Office for 15+ years
and OpenOffice for about 2 years.  I can perform QA in probably just about any
area needed.  A specific area of interest of mine is test automation for which
I have been trained and additionally have a few months experience (JUnit).  I'd
like to build on this.  I am also an Access Power User, proficient in VBA.  One
area of OpenOffice I haven't explored much yet is the VBA-equivalent in it used
to program user forms and other code-based additions.  Looking forward to
making your acquaintance.

Thanks,
Tom
