Time will tell if this sidebar is successful... There are people who think Open Office is just an amateur Microsoft clone office suite. Mimicking Microsoft UI (rotated 90 degrees) and doing so before the 2500 unconfirmed bugs in the system were eliminated will not help change their mind...
