Dear Qbs maintainers,

I would like to inquire about the current status of WebAssembly support in Qbs.

There is very limited official information available regarding building Qt for
WebAssembly applications using Qbs, especially in combination with Qt Creator
and Emscripten. It is unclear whether WebAssembly is officially supported,
considered experimental, or no longer actively maintained within Qbs.

Specifically, I would appreciate clarification on the following points:

  1. Is WebAssembly (Qt for WebAssembly / Emscripten toolchain) officially
supported in Qbs?

  2. Are there any recommended or documented workflows for configuring a Qbs
project to build a Qt WebAssembly application?

  3. Is there an example project demonstrating a minimal Qt + Qbs +
WebAssembly setup?

  4. Are there known limitations or architectural constraints in Qbs regarding
wasm targets?

If WebAssembly support is not actively maintained, it would also be helpful to
understand whether migration to CMake is strongly recommended for this target
platform.

Any documentation, references, or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance for your clarification.

Best regards,
Maksym Lykhovych
