The attached patch (against current CVS) completes the SSE3 instruction set - except for 'mwait' and 'monitor', as these both have their own CPUID bit. I successfully run some SSE2 benchmarks from Sandra 2004 (Win98), but I don't know, if it also uses SSE3 instructions (it detects them at least). So I would really appreciate it, if someone could test this patch and/or give me links to programs (Linux/Win98) that use SSE3 instructions (and preferably also prove the results).
