This part avoids

       QEMU_TSAN_ANNOTATE_THREAD_NAME(NULL);
       g_free(NULL);

The latter is an obvious no-op.  The former isn't.  Separate patch or
mention in the commit message?

This changes the first argument of SetThreadDescriptionFunc() from the
value of _beginthreadex() to GetCurrentThread().  I'm a happy Windows
ignoramus...  sure these refer to the same thread?
