Ok. I tried to debug it further today, on the same system,
with no changes in software (I only upgraded chromium browser
in between). And.. I can't reproduce this prob anymore, no
matter how I try.
Wen I reported it a few days ago, it was trivially reproducible
on two machines I have (my desktop PC and my laptop). Here on
the laptop, it just works. I'll try it on the PC later today.
