Thanks for your suggestion. After updating the fmc-model, I have successfully
loaded the AST2700 DCSCM image using the ast2700a1-evb machine type.

Regarding the I2C test case for the AST1700 (IO expander): would you prefer me
to append this to the end of the current AST1700 patch series, or should I 
submit
it as a separate patch series?

If it is ready, please append the functional test at the end of v5.
