ffsb is a file system benchmark. It can also be used for block device benchmarking. Which aspects are you trying to benchmark? CPU/memory? Network? Storage? There is a "standard" datacenter virtualization benchmark called SPECvirt_sc2010: http://www.spec.org/virt_sc2010/ Stefan
