SeaBIOS / SeaVGABIOS is separate from the asm-ized vgabios; this patch doesn't apply AFAICS. Regarding the win8 resolution problem, see this seabios thread: http://www.seabios.org/pipermail/seabios/2013-September/006875.html Laszlo
