That was an idea raised in the 2010 thread that Laszlo mentioned: http://thread.gmane.org/gmane.comp.emulators.qemu/77582 It's a big old thread so I only skimmed it, but there seemed to be some fairly heavy pushback on the idea -- has anything much changed in the intervening time to make it a better plan this time around? -- PMM
