Hi, The project is about adding VIRTIO 1.0 support so you'll have to look at the VIRTIO 1.0 specification and the source code linked from here: http://qemu-project.org/Outreachy_2016_DecemberMarch#VIRTIO_1.0_support_in_libqos Once you have an idea of what adding VIRTIO 1.0 support entails you will be able to fill out the application form including a rough project plan for the 12-week project.
