this is a different issue then, please open a new bug. Also, if I
understood you correctly, the problem appeared after an upgrade? It
would make sense to try to bisect between qemu and kernel versions
(personally, I'd start with kernel because it's easier to rollback and
has higher chances of being the root cause) to see when the issue
appeared. Knowing which exact version brought the regression will likely
help Ubuntu packagers in fixing the issue.
