Well, the option itself is what has been the most controversial here. Yours is at least the third attempt, so far we've seen discussed -dtb, -kern-dtb, -kernel-dtb, -kernel dtb=, etc. Also how to pass around the data obtained that way - whether as global variable or via struct passed to machine init or in a few weeks via QOM.
