Hi,

I have built a qemu emulation of an old solaris 2.5 1 system over a redhat 9
virtualized server.
This VM redhat9 is hosted over ESX ( Vsphere 8.0.3.XXXX) of VmWare.
Unfortunately, that qemu client is experiencing network latency .
Sometimes I am unable to remote login to it and I observe quite a lot of ICMP
packets lost.

My Redhat 9 has 2 interfaces.

  * 1 interface is reserved for the redhat 9, traffic (ens33).
  *   the other interface (ens38 / master br0)  is connected to a bridge (br0),
which is also connected to a tap device (master br0); this tap device is used
to provide the interface to the qemu client.
See below.

[root@redhat9 ~]# ip addr

If anyone has some experience of such issue I would appreciate if I could have
some advises .
I am wondering where my packets get lost....

Kind regards,
