I just want to say a big thank you to the developer(s) that have
recently included gpsd support into qgis. Just in time for my field work
trip! And it appears the only way to get my garmin gpsmap60csx connected
to qgis (I was getting kind of desperate, till I did an svn update of my
qgis sources...).
It's working flawlessly (as far as I've tried). Only the downloading of
waypoints etc. does not work with gpsd, but that works OK with the 'old'
/dev/ttyUSB0 connection.
