Hi, thanks again for your quick reply and at the same time I appologize for my late answer.
I went through your video tutorial many times to be sure, that I didnt do anything wrong and doing so, after start of a home_range plugin and any type of calculation I bumped to an *error msg*: R error (please consult its documentation) is: Error in function (x, method = c("mcp", "href", "lscv", "hadj", "clusthr", : This procedure requires adehabitat to be installed I don't get it, really. After all I upgraded to a gqis 1.7.0 and R 2.11.1 and did everything like shown in the video. And eventhough I have Windows XP, I copied the R libraries into a different location (also by that time, replaced the original path to the R in the windows PATH by the new one. It must be also said, the I tried to run home_range with the original path and after the change, and still with same results.) And also the adehabiat, I installed it like for three times, although I didn't have to. It was succesfully installed the first time. So, the home_range plugin doesn't work for me now. But not to be only negative, I thing I managed to find out the center of the problem from my first post. If you remember, I couldn't run the SDA4PP without error msg: "blah blah....don't use ascii letters...blah blah ". So I thing, the problem was not only in a coding of the file (.gpx or .shp), well it might play its role too, but mainly because those non ascii letter must not be in the path, where the plugin gets the data from. So in my case, in the time of the error msg, it was like this: "C:\Documents and Settings\DartVader\Plocha\EVL Ch_luh\*zkouška*\test SDA4PP\gh.shp" As you can see, there is "zkouška" with non ascii letter "š". After renaming it to anything else without diacriticals, the plugin works correctly. -- View this message in context: http://osgeo-org.1803224.n2.nabble.com/SDA4PP-Kernel-density-troubleshooting-tp6621793p6635974.html Sent from the qgis-developer mailing list archive at Nabble.com. _______________________________________________ Qgis-developer mailing list Qgis-developer@lists.osgeo.org http://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/qgis-developer
