Hi all,
release time again... happens that just couple of hours after i pushed alpha5, the necessitas framework received a new update [1] that addresses some important issues.

Meanwhile I managed to compile GEOS and GDAL with armeabi-v7a optimizations and updated the wiki [2].

As well, I got some feedbacks that the alpha5 release (CMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=Release) versions are not as stable (mainly crashes loading any vectorial data) as the older ones, so for the moment the also the alpha packages are build with Debug symbols. There are packages with a -armeabi suffix which only include the generic armv5 code and packges without which include v5 and v7a code.

furthermore, I started testing signing the nightly packages as well, so there should be no unmatched signature problem issue when switching between nightly and release packages. please test and report.

I'm sorry for the quick change, but I think at the moment stability is way more important than performance.

ciao Marco
