Hi, May we develop an Opensource .ECW, for example .OCW, with sources of epsilon!? Because working with larges rasters as 100 000 x 100 000 is now current, and it's not easy to manipulate .TIF > 30 Go! Best regards

Yes, you should perhaps open a ticket (if not already done by someone else) in OSGeo4W trac instance to ask for the gdal-ecw plugin to be regenerated against GDAL 1.9 > It's time to have an opensource wavelets compression!!! > 1) Somebody knows Epsilon CW? Is -it possible with GDAL1.9 linux and win? Yes, but the Epsilon lib won't read ECWs and you have probably to build GDAL yourself against it because few packages will build it. > Sent: Thursday, March 22, 2012 8:56 PM > To: 'qgis-developer' > Subject: [Qgis-developer] RE: ECW!!! > > Hi all, > Big, big problem in France with ECW! > A lot of my students work with QGIS, and French IGN give rasters in > ECW formats Exists a solution to use ECW?
