Qwt itself is good.

As I understand it, Qwt 6 has active development, but I haven't tried it with 
QGIS.  5.2 stills works fine in QGIS.  PyQwt uses Qwt 5.2 and will not be 
updated for Qwt 6, and it doesn't look like it will be fixed to work with 
recent PyQt versions.
