Hi Michael,
I did not find a solution, however since this week it started
working!...
The Qgs classes are not marked as error any more, and I get text
completion and the tool tip suggesting the available methods for
each class.
The change was that I upgraded to the latest version of QGIS from
the kyngchaos website, which is 2.2 Valmiera. I'm also using the
latest PyCharm 3.1.1 build from 14th Feb.
Give it a try and it might work for you as well...
Best regards,
Jorge

Hi Jorge,
Did you find a solution eventually? I am using PyCharm 3.1.1 and
added /Applications/QGIS.app/Contents/Resources/python/ to the
list of paths.
My import statement is not marked as error anymore but every
Qgs... class still is. I removed/added the path multiple times,
restarted PyCharm, invalidated the cache, etc. without success
Many thanks,
Michael

Hi
everyone,
I'm new to QGIS plug-in developemtn and I'm setting up a
development
environment on Mac OS X.
At the moment I'm going with PyCharm and got the remote
debugging to
work. Thanks to this list!
One thing I can't get to work is code completion for the
PyQGIS API.
I've added '/Applications/QGIS.app/Contents/Resources/python/qgis/'
and
'/Applications/QGIS.app/Contents/Resources/python/' to
the interpreter's
path. PyCharm can find PyQGIS and ads it to the external
libraries. This
way I can import the qgis modules without errors, in the
Python console
for example.
However, code completion doesn't work in the editor nor in the
console.
Thanks in advance for your help,
Jorge
