Hi Tom, I merged the pull request linked in the last mail since there were no errors and no timeout. I hope that this solves our issues.
The matrix notation should only be required if there are different requirements for different platforms. However, what I just DID realize while reading your link is that with a build matrix we could use a different platform for Qt5 tests. Levaing Qt4 tests on precise and run Qt5 tests on travis.
