I'm just experiencing that compiling grass on debian stable is not that easy.. some trouble with wx-config and numpy.. it seems that there is a bug with wayland making not recognize it the right version of numpy installed
I don't know how much time it could takes for you to back port grass 7.. for sure having grass 7 also on debian stable would be great, but not if I'm the only user asking for it
