Here is a thought how to proceed: 1) Issue a "RFP" with attached dollar amount, we can ask for additional funds as part of the blog post if any sponsors are interested 2) Literally expect proposals on our wiki page 3) Select a proposal in one of our PSC meetings, the result of which would be a small contract much how OSGeo SAC operates.
